Meet The Nigerian Pastor Who Ordained Bishop David Oyedepo Who Is Still Alive.
Bishop David Oyedepo was born in the year 1954, the 27th day of September in Osogbo. He is native to Omu-Aran in Irepodun Local government area, Kwara state, Nigeria.
He accepted the life of Christ in 1969 through Betty Lasher, his school teacher. Having graduated from school, he felt led by God to go share the gospel as a missionary, which he obeyed and resigned from his work at the federal ministry of housing at Ilorin.
According to Bishop Oyedepo, in an 18- hour vision, he received the mandate to, through the preaching of faith, liberate the world from every oppression of the devil.
It is this vision that founded living faith church also known as Winners chapel world wide in 1981. It was the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye that ordained Bishop David Oyedepo as pastor in 1983, 17th September and officially commission living faith church.
It can be correct to say that Pastor Adeboye is truly a father. Through him, God has raised generals for the kingdom.
A lot of people thought Bishop David Oyedepo was ordained by one man of God who is currently not alive, but that is not true. Pastor Adeboye is one of the most oldest and the most respected pastors in Nigeria whose impact and influence in Nigeria cannot be forgotten in a hurry. He has ordained and mentored many pastors who are either general overseers, Bishops or resident pastors of several churches in Nigeria.
