It's always tragic to lose a loved one, and more especially an untimely death, as it was the case of a grieving daughter who has shared how she felt about the journey her mother was about to make, and the last thing she heard from her mother. Speaking with Punch news who went to visit the family of deceased, the daughter noted that she had a bad feeling about the party her mother was to attend, and had told her, but she responded to her saying she should pray afterwards.
Recall that weeks ago fourteen nurses, two hospital attendants and a driver were involved in a ghastly accident along Abeokuta- Lagos expressway while going to a burial, which led to the untimely death of two persons. However, the daughter of one of the deceased as spoken about the day she left for the journey, where she revealed that she was uncomfortable with the journey, and then told her mother to decline, but got a response from her mother saying she should be praying, and nothing will happen to her.
The deceased daughter, Rukayat, a 400 level student noted that she could not persuade much because she was invited by her boss, and there was a bus which will take them to and back from the party, but never did she know it would be the last time she would see her mother. She furthermore revealed that she immediately told her mother that God will guide them all through the journey.
The student of Harvarde College of Business and management studies in Obada area of Abeokuta said on the said day that her mother had died, she was restless, and never knew what had happened, but then decided to try her line, only for her to be unreachable, stressing that she will forever miss her. What a painful and saddening incident indeed.
