In My University There Was A Time Christians Were Employed More Than Muslims & I Didn't Know - Datti Baba-Ahmed

The vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Datti Baba-Ahmed has stated that although he is a dedicated Muslim, he respects other faiths in Nigeria

While speaking during a meeting with ECOWAS election observers at the Labour Party office, Datti said the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to fly a same-faith presidential ticket will cost the party the election because it doesn't reflect political justice. Datti who is also the founder of Baze University in Abuja said as a practicing Muslim who respects other religions, there was a time when his university employed more Christians than Muslims and he didn't know until he was told.

About 6:00 minutes into a video shared on YouTube, Datti said: " [Tinubu] could not be the vice president in 2015 because the Muslim-Muslim ticket can not work in today's Nigeria. By the way, I am a respectable practicing Muslim and I respect all faiths. In my University, there was a time there were more Christians employed than Muslims and I didn't know until they told me so I respect all faiths..."
