Is it right for church members to kneel down to greet a pastor? See these photos.
To be a Christain means to be a Christ follower. To be a Christ follower, you don't need to pick the character or attribute of Christ you want and live the others. To be a Christian you must follower all the teachings of Christ. One of the teachings of Christ is humbleness. This he demonstrated when he washed the feet of his disciples. Every Christian should have such personality in him or her.
I came across this picture online and I was baffled. The man in this picture stepping out of the jeep is a pastor with a church in Nyanya, Abuja and the people that knelt down are his church workers and members. When I saw the first picture I was not bothered thinking its just a one time thing, not until i saw another picture of people kneeling to greet him once the door of his car is opened.
Even if it's the idea of his members to kneel and great him, he should have stopped them. No one kneels for a president.
