Nigerian women has been doing great things in the aviation sector, recently there have been many 'first' that has been achieve by our loving women. From Tolulope Arotile (RIP) to Kafayat Sanni of the Nigerian Airforce, now there is a new ground breaker in the person of Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo, the first Nigerian at Qatar airways and the first Nigerian female pilot to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner across the Atlantic.
Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo was born on 16th October 1990 in Kaduna state to the family Ogunmola Ademola and Aweni Deborah Ogunmola and married to Sowemimo Olamilekan Michael. She is the last born child out of 3 children of her parent. She hails from Ogbomoso in Oyo state, she had to proceed to Nigerian college of Aviation Technology Zaria, Kaduna to start up her standard pilot course in the year 2009 to 2010. Afterwards, she concluded her standard pilot course (commercial pilot license) in 2011 at Sunrise Aviation Inc. Florida, USA. She likes reading, watching movies and religious,she loves God and prays often.
