Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG,has delivered a verdict on Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, DCLM, saying he is one of the greatest teachers of the scriptures in this generation.
Adeboye revealed this in a foreword of the book: ''Kumuyi, Defender of the Faith,'' which is a biography written by DCLM faithful.
Adeboye described man's life as a story from which lessons, either good or bad, could be learned, to serve as the motivation for other people to draw inspiration from.
''In my opinion, Pastor Kumuyi is one of the greatest teachers of the scriptures in our generation. He will always be remembered for his deep exposition of the word of God. His love for evangelism, his devotion to God, and his life of chastity and self-discipline, which summed up the manifold presence of God.
''This book teaches Christians how they can be closely committed to God, taking Pastor Kumuyi as a case study of how it can be achieved.
''I hereby recommend the book without any reservations, in the hope that it will be a source of inspiration and blessing to the present and coming generations,'' Adeboye explained.
Adeboye submitted that Kumuyi's lifestyle is a testament to God's faithfulness to anyone who committed his life and energy to serve God, which is the rationale behind the book.
