Till death, he was the general overseer of the RCCG church in Eket, where he took his last breath.
He held a service the night prior to his death and showed no signs of ill health, but was discovered dead in bed the following day, by his wife.
During the service of songs, many came to render accolades to the late pastor and among them was his wife.
She revealed he had always said he wasn't afraid of death, as he has always lived his life according to the teachings of Christ. He said that the night prior to his death too.
She also told the congregation she doesn't mourn because he wasn't dead but asleep, and hoped to meet him in heaven, when the time was right.
She described him as a very good and kind man and a lover of God.
