2 Major Reasons The Jews Rejected Jesus

1. You can't be a Jew and also believe in Jesus. Judaism, the religious beliefs of many Jews, is seen more as a cultural thing and not really a religion. Not to have believed in Jesus, is what they have learnt from their homes while growing up. They also might have learnt through Rabbi. Rabbi is a person qualified by academic studies of the Hebrew Bible and the Talmud to act as spiritual leader and religious teacher of a Jewish community or congregation.

This is simply based on traditional and cultural position. It has started way back, to the time when Jesus was on earth.

2. Jewish people have misunderstood what Jesus taught about the law. What Rabbi has been teaching Jews is that, Jesus went away with the law as he broke the 10 commandments. Matthew 12:1-2 talks about how Jesus was walking on a field, on the Sabbath day and he picked a grain. He was accused of working and harvesting on Sabbath day. So,Jewish people rejected Jesus because they believed, Jesus rejected the law and tried to do away with the law. But Jesus actually kept the law as seen in Matthew 5:17 that reads," Do not think that I came to abolish the law or the Prophets, I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
