The executive governor of Oyo state has warned those that are trying to use religion to cause problem in Oyo state.
Seyi Makinde while speaking to journalist maintained that he is fully aware that some people are trying to use religious difference to make the pace setter state ungovernable for him, the governor however warned those people to stop.
In his explanation, Seyi Makinde explained that those that are trying to use religion to cause problem only want political power and they should know that it is only God that can give power not human.
Also, while talking about the Bodija Eid praying ground that led to the rumour that he is not treating Muslims well, Makinde explained that he only upgraded the praying ground, not that he wants to stop Muslims from observing the yearly Eid Mubarak prayer there.
The governor also warned customs to notify the Oyo state government before undertaking any operation in the state.
