See What The Holy Bible Says. President Muhammadu Buhari and Other Leaders Need Our Prayers

The leadership of any country is tasked with the responsibility of making good policies that will benefit all the citizens of that particular country. When leaders make the right decisions, it benefits the populace. On the other hand, citizens also get to suffer when the government fails to implement the right policy.

Nigeria is a complex nation in terms of cultural diversity, religion and ethnicity. The two major religions are Christianity and Islam. The Muslims use Koran for their worship, while Christians believe in the Bible. Both Muslims and Christians believe in the existence of God.

Most times when our leaders are not living up to expectations, many Christians only complain about the government. But complaining is not the solution because even the Bible has already given us an instruction about leadership.

First of all, leaders are human beings just like us and so they are not above mistakes. See what the Holy Bible says we should do for our leaders;

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

1 Timothy 2:1

According to the above bible passage, all Christians should learn to pray pray for those in authority because it only through the wisdom of God that they can lead aright. President Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders need our prayers in order for them to rule the country. They are all human beings like us and so they also need the help of God.
