Gov. Of Gombe State Apologises To Christians For All His Wrong Doings And Promise Not To Repeat Them

The Governor of Gombe state, Muhammadu Yahaya has apologized to all Christians faithful in the state saying that he is sorry for all his wrongdoings in the state. The governor urged the Christian community to vote for the party in the March 11 governorship and House of Assembly elections. It was revealed that there were audio-visuals, and letters circulated in public saying that the governor is a hater of the faith and Christians should not support him.

Speaking in a meeting organized by the Christian Association of Nigeria, Gombe state chapter at the banquet hall of Government House, the governor apologized to the Christian leaders as well as the Christian community for his wrongdoings. Even though he didn't mention what he was apologizing for, said that human beings are capable of mistakes and offenses, that why he thought to apologize.

He added that the March 11 election should not be based on sentiment but should be based on achievements and infrastructural development that have impacts on the people.

“it should be achievements based and infrastructural development that has a direct impact on the people as a guiding consideration. As in every human endeavor, I and this administration might have committed errors. I request the gathering to forgive and chart a new course for continued development of the state"
