The Inhabitants Of The New Heaven And The New Earth

John depicts the reunion of heaven and earth as the descent of a new Jerusalem. Unlike the old Jerusalem that was corrupted and dishonored by most of Israel’s kings, the new Jerusalem would be ruled by a divine king. This new city would be built by God, not by human hands.

Who are the inhabitants?

In the book of Revelation 21:7, the Bible says,

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be my son"

You must be an overcomer before you can inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and enjoy the benefits of the New Heaven and a New Earth. During your stay on Earth, You must have overcome sin, self, and Satan which will allow you to be able to reign with Christ during the Millennium reign. Those who miss the rapture but are able to overcome the Antichrist and the false prophet will also be inhabitants of the new heaven and a new Earth.

Also in the book of Revelation 22 : 3, the Bible says,

"And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and his servant shall serve him"

Those who spent their lives serving God will also be inhabitants of the new heaven and a new earth. It is expected that we serve god during her time on Earth and if you did that wholeheartedly, then you have a high chance of making it to the kingdom of God. You are expected to serve God in spirit, in truth, and without sin. If you are still in sin and you claim you serving God, then you are deceiving yourself.

In conclusion, anything in your life that will not make you enjoy the benefits of the New Heaven and the New Earth, you need to keep them away immediately. Christ is calling you now and you need to accept him as your Lord and Savior and stay totally away from sin. Mind you, if you are not in heaven, then you will be in the Lake of Fire.
