Angry Christians have been reacting to a viral video that showed the moment London Police Officers shut down a Catholic Church barely 24 hours ago. As we all know that the world is still battling COVID 19 pandemic, there are still restrictions on gathering of people in various countries. This video angered a lot of Christians online who felt that it was wrong for police officers to enter a church and threaten to arrest them if they don't leave because the gathering is unlawful.
Some alleged that the Catholic church was following the COVID 19 guidelines and it's not right for the London police to shut down the service, this is because London reported zero COVID 19 deaths a day before the service. In the video, police officers walked into the church and went straight to the altar. They signalled to the priest that they have a few words to say and they were given permission to talk to the congregation.
"Ladies and gentleman, this gathering is unfortunately unlawful under the coronavirus regulations we have currently. You are not allowed to meet inside with this many people under law, you need to go home. Failure to comply with this direction to leave and go to your homes could lead to a fine of 200 pounds or you would be arrested. This is Good Friday and I appreciate that you would like to worship but this gathering is unlawful, please leave now," the police officer told the congregation.

Christians reacted to the video and lamented that people are allowed to travel together in a plane, airports are crowded without no restrictions in London but people aren't allowed to worship.
The video gathered over 600,000 views within 6 hours, check out more reactions below
Do you think the Police did the right thing by telling the people to leave the church or they would be arrested for going against the law?
