A Christian televangelist from Israel who is most known for his recurring miracle crusades, Benny Hinn, has revealed why many Christians are poor.

In a video on his verified Facebook page, the man of God said that King David decided not to get free land to build an altar for God because it is only something that has value that can move God. Benny Hinn said, "Many Christians are poor because they don't place value on the seed they offer to God. There is power in the seed that is offered to God." He said that seed can be in the form of an offering. He said that he has seen seed sowing work for him when he had financial troubles. Benny Hinn said that a lot of Christians don't value seed sowing because a lot of preachers have abused it. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:6, "But this I say, He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he who soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."
