The Bishop, founder and the General Overseer of Faith Tabernacle Ministry, Bishop/Pastor David Oyedepo has spoken in a controversial way. The popular pastor on a tweet he made publicly on his verified twitter handle stated it clearly that any Christian that refuses to pay his or her tithe is under financial curse.
The pastor started his tweet by stating it clearly that tithing is an inseparable covenant obligation for every Christian. Moving further, he stated it clearly that prosperity and wealth are impossible once someone refuses to pay his or her tithe. According to him, when someone is not paying his or her tithe, the person is under financial curse.
This really sounds funny because many people faulted this his claim. There are thousands of people who don't pay tax and yet they are rich and successful, and aswell, there are thousands of people who pay their tax, and yet the are poor. It's only God that can make someone rich and it does not matter but you pay your tithe to a pastor. There are many ways to give God back what he has given to you back apart from paying of tithes.
