On average humans grow up to a height of 5 to 7 ft tall from the age of 20. But the real question is: How tall can a human being grow? Well, According to John Wass at the University of Oxford, human beings can grow as tall as 9 feet, but to survive even for a few months at that height would be a bit of a miracle.
He revealed that the primary factors for growth increase in humans are better nutrition and more advanced medical care. Although some excessive human growth may arise as a result of increased growth hormone disorder which stems from childhood.
Other theories stated that the main factor that influences someone's height is their genetic makeup. i.e the genes you inherited from your parents will determine how tall you will end up growing. But Scientists believe that genetic makeup, or DNA, is responsible for about 80% of a person's height.
With that being said, Let’s now look at some of the tallest men by country in history and the great heights they reached, measured in feet and metres.
