4 years ago today, in late January 2016, a Danish aid works went on a rescue mission on the streets of Nigeria and discovered a starving child on the brink of death.
The Danish worker name is Anja Ringgren Lovén. She went on to rescue the child known as Hope from death. She was capture on camera tilting a bottle of water towards the boy's lip.
Hope was an unfortunate kid who was left on the street to die after being accused of witchcraft by his parents.
Anja Ringgren grab Hope into her arms and took him immediately to the hospital, where he was treated for malnutrition and stomach worms.
Exactly one year after being rescue by the Danish aid worker, Hope started going to school.
