Saturdays are for weddings, and different people have their own ways of expressing uniqueness on their special day. It comes as no surprise because you never have another to celebrate that unique day, so why don't you just go all out and be unique?
Such uniqueness is what has caused a stir over the weekend. On twitter, a video where garri and fish was served at a wedding reception went viral, though with a lot of misconceived ideas about why garri would be served on a special day like that.
(The Twitter handle that made the video trend)
The man whose wedding it was, identified by the user name @TheBopDaddy on Twitter quickly explained what had happened on that day and how that it was not a lack of cash that caused it, rather it was uniqueness in concept.
On his Twitter handle, he explained that the the event planners had suggested that they include garri and fish in the after party menu, and the bill was N400k, and yeah he was glad at the outcome because their guests loved it.
Trust Nigerians, they don't pass by such things, as Twitter users have given their own opinion about the waste of money, while others opined it was a good thing and appreciated the creativity of the couple.

What do you think about this? Good concept or not?
