In order to leave a good impression when you first meet someone, you should make sure you have good manners.
When you meet someone older than you for the first time and call him by his first name without him giving you the privilege, you are already leaving a bad impression of yourself.
Reno Omokri tweeted that you should never call anyone who is older than you by their first names upon first meeting them, no matter how woke you are.
He said that you should wait for them to give you that privilege, and if they don't give it to you, you should not presumptuously take it. Reno Omokri finished his tweet saying that good manners open doors that good looks can't open.
Many people agreed with Mr Omokri on this tweet. It confused someone and he asked that what if you are in an official setting where addressing people by their first name is supported by a policy.
Below are screenshots of more reactions Mr Omokri got after he tweeted this.
