No matter the length of time, what is meant to be, will be especially if it has been destined for you. This is exactly the story of a Nigerian lady by the name, Onome who unexpectedly met her soul mate at a friend's party but they were not aware that they were meant for each other until about 6 months later when they reconnected and realized that they were specially made for each other.
Read Onome's narration of how she met her husband below:
We met at a house party organised by a friend in 2016 and it would take another six months for us to connect again.
The reunion happened in early 2017 when Yomi dropped a message on a group chat asking who could pick him up from the airport, with me replying that I would but he has to marry me. This began our happily ever after journey.
Our first date was being sort of an interview between us, as we asked each other questions as if to qualify for a managerial position, however, that singular bonding activity sparked the begining of a romance which led to an engagement in 2020.
My intense attraction to Yomi is founded on his enviable love and relationship with God. Somewhere along the line I just knew he was the one for me.
