This post really got people talking. Personally if someone gives me a Bible as a birthday gift I think I will not have any problems with that. Most people will say of all the things to buy or why will you buy me a Bible but for me gifting someone a Bible is the best thing you can do for that person. But also you have to enlighten he or she on what they stand to gain if they study the Bible by the help of God. All that pertains to life can be found in the Bible. It is not just an ordinary book that every Christian has, but is containing the work of God for us, how he wants us to live and what we stand to gain when we are on his side.
So in case you have a birthday coming up soon and you don't know what to get for that your Christian friend, then buy he or she a Bible isn't such a bad idea after all.
