Nigerian Orator, Reno Omokri has tried to warn people who go into relationship because they want to have someone who can take good care of them.
This might sound a little bit harsh but we all know this sort of act is common among women. A woman who is poor would always want a relationship that could solve her financial difficulties.
That's exactly why some women wouldn't want to leave a man when when the relationship is toxic. When the man isn't treating her right, there is every possibility that she would want stay because of the financial gain.
Reno Omokri has felt the need to address this situation. As an individual don't try to get into a relationship just because you're poor. According to him, the relationship wouldn't last long because your partner will be wary of you.
Reno said: "If you were raised in poverty, dont see relationships as a means of escaping that poverty, or you’ll sabotage any relationship you go into. Your greed will breed fear in anyone who comes close to you. You need poverty alleviation, not relationships".
