Domestic violence, or 'intimate partner violence', is violent, abusive or intimidating behaviour in a relationship.
In recent years, cases of domestic violence has been on the increase and one begins to wonder what will be the fate of relationships and marriages in the nearest future.
After enduring five years of violence in her relationship, a young lady identified as Ruth has uploaded a video showing how the boyfriend, identified as Ifunnaya Nmonyem attacked her for confronting him over constant domestic Abuse.
In the video, the lady, who was in obvious distress can be heard shouting " Acts of Violence" while trying to take cover from the man.

Many have ended in an untimely death resulting from domestic violence and one begins to wonder why somebody will continue to be with someone who has abused them over and over again when they aren't even married.
The incidence which occurred in Abraka, Delta State has attracted several responses from the social media space.
In one of the responses, an Instagram user identified as Yahsomy, asked why ladies love and stay with men that abuse them.
Another user, identified as Emma50 advised her to just walk away.
