Some ladies would not tolerate their boyfriends or husband behaving rudely to them because they didn't experience their parents behaving in such a way to themselves. They are hesitant to accept men's proposals because they are careful not to attract men who would not cooperate with them and their wishes.
A lady identified as Chiamaka has revealed that her parents didn't shout and argue at each other in front of her. According to her, she would not settle for less with her man because of this.
The lady's statement shows why some women refuse marriage proposals from men. They use their parent's marriage to judge how they want their marriages to look like and in a situation where their fathers treat their wives with respect, they would not want any less from their husbands. Many ladies would see it as a step back to be in a wealthy family and peaceful home and eventually marry a man who wouldn't provide such for them.
