Biologically speaking: men have both X and Y chromosome, while the mother’s have only X chromosome. Men determine the sex of a child depending on whether their sperm is carrying an X or Y chromosome. a Y chromosome from the father will combine with the X chromosome from the mother’s to make a boy (XY).And X chromosome from the father’s combines with the X chromosome from the mother’s to make a baby girl (XX).
Biblically speaking: God almighty can only determine the sex of a child, Father’s and mother’s factors cannot do so.
Traditionally speaking: The blame for a man not having a male child is put on the mother’s, which is why most men have the right to marry another woman when they are finding it difficult to bear a son. So therefore, traditionally speaking the mother’s is blame.
