- This is really painful that some women are barren, praying for God for the fruit of the womb, while some will give birth and just throw the baby away. I have really been I pains since I saw this.
- Eye witnesses that around the area reported that they woke up this morning to find twin dead babies, lying on the cold dump.
- One of the person around said that, early in the morning by 7am, she woke up to dispose her refuse, getting there she saw people gathered. And some people where murmuring, when she moved closer, she saw the twin babies, lying lifelessly on the cold dump without even a pair of cloths.
She further explained that, when she check further, she discovered that there umbilical cord is still intact, but they are already dead.
Many of them explained that they haven't seen such before, till this Friday morning. They complained bitterly that young girls of this days can't keep there legs closed, that this is a cruel act.
Efforts have been made by the residents to call the Cross Rivers State Waste Management Agency to come and dispose the dead babies properly.
