Is He Moving On With Life Or What? See The Photo That Got People Praising This Ex Corper On Facebook

NYSC stands for Nigeria youth service corps. It was established by the Government of General Gowon in 1973. It was a scheme structured to help the integration of all parts of the country after the bloody Biafra-Nigeria civil war which took place in 1967 and ended in 1970. The war lasted for 30 months and saw the death and destruction of lives and properties from both sides. The NYSC was a welcome development that have really united the youths of this country. The NYSC program is expected to last for one year.

The NYSC is meant only for fresh graduates from recognized higher institutions of learning scattered across the length and breath of the country. It is also meant for young men and women that are not more than 30 years of age.

The service year is usually ended with a passing out parade known as P.O.P which is the day corpers are awarded with their certificate of merit, stating that they have truly served their father land for one year. The photo above shows two corpers already passing out from the scheme. The lady is posing with her NYSC certificate while the guy behind him is moving away with his certificate folded into his khaki trouser. People interpreted the guy's action as moving ahead with life when the picture was posted on Facebook. Below is what people are saying about this photo...
