The members of the disbanded Eagle Crack team accused of extorting N150,000 from a student are currently undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Rivers State Police Command following their arrest.
However, the victim is accusing the IPO handling the matter at the State CID of intimidation. He expressed surprise that the IPO told him and his friend that the statement they made at the Police headquarters is not credible.
He urged the Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday, to prevail on his men to diligently carry out the order he has issued on the matter.
It should be recalled that some members of Eagle Crack Team, was recently accused of extortion by a student who claimed they collected N150,000 from him and his friends around Ikoku area of Port Harcourt.
The victim, who said of the policemen forgot his phone in his car after extorting him a the huge sum of money.
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, however yielded to people's call and thereby disbanded the Eagle Crack Team.
The accused team members of the Eagle Crack were arrested for interrogation.
