See Why The 17-Year-Old Keke Driver Was Shot Dead By A Policeman (Photos)

There have been a serious protest in Rukpokwu In Obio/Apko Local Government Area, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital since the early hours of this morning.

The unrest is due to the killing of a 17-year-old keke driver identified as 'Schoolboy' by a police officer who shot him dead in cold blood.

When the news first broke out this morning, many Nigerians demanded for justice including fellow keke drivers in the street of Rukpokwu.

According to witnesses, the policeman shot Schoolboy after he refused to give him a N100 bribe which resulted to a serious confrontation between their two.

During the cause of the argument, the happy trigger police officer shot the keke driver, (Schoolboy) who died instantly. The police officer was said to have escaped the scene after killing the boy.

Recall similar incident happened few months ago when a civilian was shot dead by some police officer in Delta state which resulted into the EndSARS that lasted for weeks.

Presently, the street of Rukpokwu is currently on high tension as keke drivers and other residents have blocked roads demanding justice for the death of the innocent boy.
