The wife of Odumakin, late Afenifere spokesman has revealed what her husband planned to do if he returned from hospital but unfortunately died without fulfilling his desire.
She made this disclosure while speaking with reporters in Osun state where the funeral of his husband is scheduled to hold this weekend.
Dr Joe Okei Odumakin noted that her husband after being told by his physiotherapist that his oxygen was low was busy writing an article when in ambulance before he arrived hospital. And also had it in his plan to write a book about his journey in life so far when he returned. But didn't make it.
Odumakin died at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) from respiratory issues on Saturday, 3rd April, 2021.
The news of his death left many Nigerians and politicians in great shock. Though he criticised many of them when he was alive, they sent condolence messages.
His remains was welcome back to Osun, his home state on Friday by the state government led by the chief of staff to the governor, Dr. Charles Akinola.
