On Thursday the 15th of April 2021 some unidentified gunmen were reported to have attacked a banking facility in Anambra state.
The bank was reportd to be a First Bank Plc branch in Abagana, Dunukofia LGA, Anambra State and the gunmen were reported to have shot sparodically at the facility damaging a Nissan Pathfinder SUV and a Honda car that was parked in front of the bank.
The controversial part of incident was the hoisting of the biafran flag by the gunmen as reported by Daily Post Nigeria, which was said to be from a source.
This has caused concern for many as they fear this report may not be true and may be a toll used in criminalizing the activities of IPOB and their security outfit ESN.
Vehicular movements and activities continued after the gunmen left who sources claim were a group of about 10men.
