Buhari Working To Rescue Kidnapped Greenfield Students - Presidency.

The Presidency has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari is working with military and intelligence agencies to save kidnapped students from Greenfield University in Kaduna state.

A statement on the Twitter page of the Presidency said on Tuesday that this would ensure victory over evil and ensure that all bandits and criminals who threaten innocent lives and communities get brought to book.

Therefore, he calls on all Nigerians to unite regardless of ethnicity or religious beliefs against the enemy.


Slain Jobseeker: Mob Vandalises House of Serial Rapist, Arrest Father 

Youths from Nung Ikono Obio in the Oruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, on Tuesday, stormed the family house of Uduak Akpan, the prime suspect in the murder of a jobseeker, Iniubong Umoren, and vandalized it.

It got gathered that the youth took action after setting ablaze the security post of the one-story building.

Sources told Punch that the youth carted away all the properties in the building and took the father of the suspected killer to the police.


Doctors To Suspend Planned Friday Strike - Gbajabiamila

Members of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) have hinted that they are ready to suspend their planned resumption of strike on Friday, according to a statement signed by the spokesman to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila.

The doctors’ apparent reversal got made after they met with the Speaker, and the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, on Tuesday.
