The Economic Financial Crime Commission(EFCC) is a body set up by the government to investigate Financial Crimes and to effectively coordinate the domestic effort of the global fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. Recently the EFFC has got people reacting ever since it posted the arrest of a 21 year graduate of Kwara State University (KWASU) via it's official facebook page. The criminal who's name is Ahmed Bolaji was arrested and charged with an attempt to cheat by personation, pretending to be a white female with a Gmail account which is contrary to section 95 of the penal code and punishable under section 324 of the same penal code.

According to Ahmed, he didn't succeed in collecting anything from his victims and wanted to obtain Money from one of them before his arrest. After he pleaded guilty, The court has granted him a bail of #100,000 or he's to serve a term of 6 months in prison.
However, Nigerians seeing this post quickly reacted differently with some congratulating the EFCC for a job well done as this would serve as a lesson to all internet fraudsters, some blamed the Nigerian Government for refusing to provide Jobs since Ahmed is a graduate and wouldn't have result into fraud if he was employed.
