Following the accident that occurred in an area in Lagos State where a high capacity bus belonging to the state government was hit by an oncoming train, the government has released phone numbers for commuters to report any of its erring bus drivers.
Six people were confirmed dead while many other passengers sustained various degrees of injuries on March 9, 2023, when a train rammed into the bus carrying staff members of the state government as the driver of the bus tried to cross the rail track at the PWD area along the Agege Motor Road in the state.
However, following investigation into the accident, it was discovered that the driver refused to listen to various pieces of advice from the passengers inside the bus, as he attempted to cross the rail track before the arrival of the oncoming, train but he miscalculated.

Apparently due to the recklessness of the bus driver and some others in the state, authorities of the state government have released various phone numbers where commuters can report the recklessness of erring drivers in its employment.
According to the Lagos Monitoring Team, an agency of the state government that monitors the activities of various organizations of the government in the state, on its Twitter handle @LMT767, the decision to ask commuters to report erring drivers became necessary due to cases of bus drivers driving recklessly and causing accidents in the process.
