Don't Start A War You Can't Win, Nigerians React As Amotekun Begins Arrest Of Underage Herdsmen In Ondo.
The issue of herdsmen's menace is no longer a news as so many villages has been attacked over the years, properties destroyed, people displaced and so many lives lost. It's being an intense issue of communal clash and sometimes clashes between farmers and herdsmen. These clashes are mostly due to land dispute.
According to report from Sahara Reporters, security group formed to safeguard the South West region of the country, amotekun has started arresting underage herdsmen in Ondo. According to the report families of any herdmen arrested would pay a fine and this measure was put in place to reduce the menace of herdsmen in the state.
Herdsmen are to return to the various local government areas where they had been working and meet with the leadership of Amotekun Corps to fish out the bad eggs and criminals posing as herders. There are some people perpetrating crimes in the name of herders.

The decision of Amotekun to arrest underage herdsmen in Ondo state generated mixed reactions on Facebook. While some commended the move, a user identified as kicked against it and warned amotekun group not to start a war they can't win because the land belongs to them.
