"Gunmen Ambushed Traders For Inviting Security Men To Protect Their Businesses on Monday" -Babajide

Ace Nigerian Journalist, Babajide Kolade Otitoju, has revealed some details regarding the Monday sit-at-home order in the South-East. Babajide made the revelations while during an interview on TVC News.

The activities of unknown armed men in the South-East is an issue of concern among many Nigerians and indigenes of the region. The gunmen are notorious for enforcing a sit-at-home order on Mondays in the Southeastern part of the country and harming residents and businesses that do not comply with the said order.

Speaking concerning the issue, Babajide said, "In some communities where traders defy the sit-at-home order, the traders bring security officers to protect their business environment. After the security officers at the premises close for work, the gunmen ambush the traders and kill them. You can not be complaining of marginalization and be killing your people at the same time. Efforts must be made to end these killings."
