Lagos Policemen Filmed Assaulting Man In Viral Video Identified- Police Force PRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi

Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has on Friday revealed that the Lagos State police officers filmed assaulting a man who allegedly refused to release his phone to them, had been identified.

Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi made this known while giving an update on the viral video, stating that the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, would come up with actions to be taken.

A video of some policemen that were assaulting a Nigerian was trending on Twitter few days ago where a man was saying that the policemen were asking for his friend's phone, and they were assaulting him because he refused to give them the phone.

The video has been generating a lot of reactions from Nigerians, and Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi has also reacted to it.

Responding to an inquiry on the matter, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi posted on his official Twitter handle on Friday night;

"Ben (Benjamin Hundeyin) has fished them out, and I have asked what to do, so he should come up with his actions taken."

Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi had on Thursday called for an investigation into the viral video, after a tweep claimed that the assault was due to his refusal to hand over his phone to some policemen in Lagos, and the policemen have been finally identified.
