Unlike most who have been beaten down by their past mistakes and their actions, Pedrinho Meador has remained quite confident and actually standing tall despite his mistakes. Matador was born Pedro Rodriguez Filho, then nicknamed 'Killer Perry' after his series of killings that eventually landed him in the custody of the authority, after he had been accused of killing at least 100 men in Brazil.
According to sources, Matador was born in Minas Gerais in 1954, into a very dysfunctional family. While he was young, he watched his father beat up his mother until she couldn't raise a finger, and this didn't start when he was born, he had always been at the receiving end of his father's age. Watching his father beat up his mother was only the beginning of his troubles, as his mother was eventually killed and dismembered. The beatings his mother received when she was pregnant with him were so much that when he was born, he was born with a deformed skull.
Despite his deformity, he vowed to avenge the death of his mother, and interestingly, he got to fulfill his promise to himself when he was in prison. At the young age of 13, Pedrinho had developed an appetite for death, with an intense urge to kill, that his first victim was almost his cousin. In an interview, Pedrinho stated, "I pushed him thinking his whole body would go through, but just his arm went through," he said, per the Daily Star.
Just one year later, his appetite for death and the need to kill went up the notch and at the age of 14, he killed a deputy mayor using his grandfather's gun. He killed the man because he fired his dead, and left him without employment. This is perhaps a way of blaming his father's actions on his unemployment which was caused by the deputy mayor. Then he went in to kill the security guard who he believed framed his father.
With time, Pedrinho grew so accustomed to death, as though he understood the workings of how life was to be snatched from men. At 18, Pedrinho went on a rampage, killing dozens of people, most of whom were drug dealers. What perhaps seems so interesting about his actions was how he often created a standard that he expected from everyone in the society, and anyone who goes below the standard, or breaks his moral code, is killed. Though not particularly identified, the media began to name him, and call him by nicknames, including the most notable one, "The Brazilian Dexter."
With a Tattoo that says "I love to Kill", Pedrinho became full of himself, the attention from the media was, of course, overwhelming that he grew so comfortable with his nicknames and press. Perhaps after overdoing it, he was arrested at the age of 19, and sentenced to 137 years in prison. One would have thought his time of terrorizing and killing was over until news of his rampage in prison got out to the public.
According to reports, Pedrinho continued to kill in prison, in line with his moral code of course. This had his sentence bumped up from 127 years to 400 years, and among those who he killed was his father, a man who Pedrinho claimed killed his mother, and dismembered her. According to the Toronto Sun, Pedrinho stabbed his father 22 times and ate a piece of his heart. "I just chewed it. I cut the tip of his heart off and chewed it, and I threw it on top of his body," he said.
Unlike most countries of the world, Brazil does not have a lifetime sentence, this means that a person cannot serve more than 30 years in prison for a particular crime, so after spending 42 years in prison, Pedrinho left prison, and shortly after, he created a page like any other person social media, started a YouTube page where he made comments about crimes and negative incidents around the world. Just after a few months of starting the page, he garnered 23,000 subscribers, and as of the time of writing this, he now has about 250,000 subscribers. YouTube, he uses the name "Pedrinho EX Matador," which means "Pedrinho ex-killer".
Throughout using his page, Pedrinho has focused on ensuring that he uses his platform to educate people on crime and desires to end lives. Though he mostly focuses on crimes that shocked his countries. He was once quoted saying, "These are crimes which outrage us, filled with lies, and put an end to the happiness of a person."
The videos also feature a friend of Pedrinho, and they are planning a documentary about his life. Pedrinho, who is now 67 years old, says he doesn't plan to kill again. "No. I would only kill again if someone came to take my life or the lives of people I love, who are my family," he said
