Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has ordered the arrest of Lucky Ebhogie, and his mother, Margaret Sylvester along with Richman Kas Godwin, Israel Justin, and Precious Iwuji for internet-related fraud.
They were arrested on August 5, 2021 in Sabu District of Kaduna, Kaduna State, following intelligence information about their alleged involvement in internet related fraud activities.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspects were mostly involved in imitation and romantic deception. Falsifying the identity of US military personnel to deceive their victims.
One suspect, Lucky Ebhogie, allegedly recruited his mother by using her account to launder alleged proceeds of crime. On July 30, 2021, he bought a Mercedes-Benz GLK for N7 million through his mother's bank account.
Another suspect, Precious Ogee, discovered that she had sold her photos and Facebook account to cyber crooks who were trapping their victims with them.




The accused will appear in court soon.
