Furthermore, Bisi Omoniyi was arrested by the police operatives in Ogun state after he macheted Akinyemi Wahab Alani to death after he found him making love with his lover.
According to the statement that was released on Monday by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson of the state police command, it was revealed that the unfortunate incident occurred when the suspect was denied entry to spend the night with his lover, Kafayat Sakariyau at Ajilete. The action taken by Bisi Omoniyi's lover got him pissed off and this led Bisi Omoniyi to break into the house forcefully.
However, Bisi Omoniyi while been paraded on Sunday confessed to have killed the other man because he was jealous of seeing his lover with another man. In his word he said, "After I broke the door to the house, I met my lover with another man together in bed and the position they were was not comfortable for me, so I confronted the other man. The man was very rude to me while responding to my question and this prompted me to pick a cutlass in the house and stabbed him to death."
Apparently baffled by the incident, Kafayat was said to have fled the area, as the deceased’s body was deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.
Nevertheless, the Ogun state commissioner of police has promised to bring the suspect to book. He further stressed that the 25-year-old man would be seriously dealth with for killing the 50-year-old man. What punishment do you think should be placed on the 25-year-old man?
