It was recently rumoured, that bandits are planning to attack Abuja, most especially schools in the Federal Capital Territory. Based on that note, the authorities of the Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT have decided to respond to that rumour.
While responding to that, the police made it known that there is no single truth in that. It was rumoured that the Nigerian Law School and Veritas University in the Bwari Area Council of Abuja have been shut down over fear of bandits attacks.
According to Vanguard report, a senior Police Officer who spoke in anonymity, disclosed that the Police authorities had put in place various security strategies of protesting all schools in the FCT, Abuja.
According to the Police Officer, he warned FCT residents to stop spreading fake news capable of causing anxiety and panic. He further assured residents that the police and other security agencies are equal to the task.
That's a good one from the Nigerian Police. The should make sure that the bandits never have their way into the Federal Capital Territory. Once they have their way into federal Capital Territory, it means that we are gone as a nation. The federal government on the other hand should rise up now and do something, before it becomes too late.
