Harrison Gwamnishu took to his social media page stating how he came to the rescue of a young girl who was brutally tortured by by uncle, Harrison Gwamnishu became popular after he helped Ada Jesus, checkout what he said below,
In his words, Our attention was drawn to the case of a young orphan aged 15 who was burnt with hot cutlass on her butt and upper thighs by her uncle in Issele-Uku,Delta State.
The Behind Bars Family swiftly visited the community and met with the victim and some family members who confirmed that the younger brother of the victims late mother, who is a vigilante member of the community meted this grievous act on the young girl because he saw her standing with a boy along the road and got upset that she is too young to stand with the opposite gender. He tied the girl up,put a cutlass on fire, brought it out red hot and burnt the young girl with it.
We have taken the girl to Asaba Specialist Hospital for adequate medical care where she is currently undergoing treatment.
The suspect is on the run,we hope to fish him out soon to face the law.
No child is meant to suffer this kind of inhumane treatment no matter what.
We wish to call on her Excellency Dame Edith Okowa to wade in and support the young orphan.
Let's join hands to save the vulnerable citizens.
