Gunmen Attack Again
Recently, Gunmen Kidnap one person and killed three in Abuja community.
According to Sahara Reporters the kidnappers opened fire on the victims' cars when they refused to stop.
However, The Chairman of Pegi Community Development Association (PECDA), Isaac Aderibigbe, confirmed that one person was kidnapped and three others sustained gunshot injuries in the incident.
Those that were shot and later escaped are: Edwin Obiekwe, Shittu Adebayo and one Kola.
APC Chairman Killed in Benue
It is no more news that Unknown gunmen on Sunday murdered the All Progressives Congress (APC) ward chairman of Gboko South, Tersoo Ahu.
Meanwhile, Ahu and other APC ward excos were said to be engaged in the training of party officials for membership registration and revalidation exercise when gunmen stormed the venue with clubs, cutlasses and others, and manhandled him, The Nation reports.
Furthermore, The publicity secretary of the APC, Benue chapter, James Orgunga, said the ward chairman who sustained serious injuries from the attack died later in a public hospital in Gboko.
Amaechi Avoids Question On loan repayment
Recently, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, said he could not answer the repayment plan for the cost of the Nigeria Niger rail project.
The Former Governor of Rivers State made this statement on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics.
According to Amaechi, The Kano-Maradi (Niger Republic) rail line has been a subject of controversy. The project will cost $1.9bn.
Furthermore, He disclosed that the federal government will source the fund “from mostly Europe”.
When Asked to explain how Nigeria will refund and the time frame, Amaechi said only the Ministry of Finance has the answers.
