Court Orders Forfeiture Of Ex-Imo Governor Okorocha’s Properties

Imo State high Court have on Thursday ordered the Forfeiture of former state governor Rochas Okorocha properties which he acquired illegally. His properties forfeited includes Royal Spring Palm Hotels, the Eastern Palm University and other apartments. This action was taken by the Court after Rochas was arrested on Sunday for bridging the state Governor’s order for gaining force entrance into Royal Spring Palm Hotels.

Bandits Surrender Weapon In Zamfara State

An unidentified number of armed bandits in Zamfara state have surrendered. The state governor Bello Matawalle advised the nation to adopt his peace dialog strategy. The state governor also added that not all funali's are criminals and also that some of them have been pushed to criminality.

300 schoolgirls kidnapped in Zamfara

300 students of Government Secondary School have been kidnapped have been kidnapped on Thursday night. Recall few weeks back 42 students and staff were reported to have been kidnapped in Kagara, Niger state. Effort have been put in place by the state governor to rescue these students which have been kidnapped.
