Suspected Bandit, Cephas Andofa & Wife Arrested In Makurdi, His House Demolished

A joint security task force codenamed "Operation Zenda" which operates in Benue State has arrested one of the most wanted bandits in the state.

According to a social media user who breaks the news on Facebook some moments ago, Cephas Andofa who is popularly known as Azonto was arrested by "Operation Zenda" alongside his wife and one other member of his gang.

The report equally revealed that a house belonging to the suspected bandit/terrorist (Azonto) which was located at the North Bank area of the state capital was demolished by the security task force.

Recall that, Benue state has been facing a lot of security challenges in the past years. While most of the attacks on the people of the state were linked to killer Fulani herdsmen, some of the suspected criminals arrested in the state so far are indigents of the state.

Check out the Facebook post that revealed the development below. Pictures of the suspected criminals and the demolished house are equally embedded.

In the comment section of the above Facebook post, many people faulted the demolition of the building. To them, the house should not have been pulled down since the suspects have been successfully arrested.
