A policewoman on Thursday gave details of how she was detained at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters following her decision to resign from the Force, with her resignation letter being rejected since last year.
The lady, whose name is Fauziyyah Ebunoluwa Isiak, popularly known as Fauziyyah the Honey Seller, disclosed in a series of tweets how she tendered her resignation letter since last year but was rejected by the command.

According to her on her Twitter handle @fauzziyahshoney, her boss called her to show up in office on Wednesday, May 24, to meet the Deputy Commissioner of Police for an interview regarding the resignation matter but she was however surprised at the interview session that she should be detained, to be tried and dismissed.
She was immediately taken out of the office and was put in detention where she is staying currently as at the time of writing this article.

Her plight was brought to the attention of the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police, Muyiwa Adejobi, by a man whose Twitter handle is @MC_Phils, who said she needs the intervention of Adejobi.
The man also displayed the photograph of the lady in his tweet and below is the screenshot of the man's tweet:
Responding to the tweet, Adejobi promised to call the attention of the Lagos State Police Commissioner to the situation, saying something must be wrong somewhere.
