The Kaduna born Edo woman, made this known via her verified social media handle a while ago, as she recalled the persecution she faced Ib 2014, while demanding for the rescue of the innocent school girls, abducted by Boko Haram.
Taking to her twitter page, the successful business woman wrote;
"I joined twitter 5th of May 2014 because of #ChibokGirls. I was 40 years before I decided to face Nigeria. Before then all my passion was towards financialIndependence! Nobody knew who I was yet I got vicious attacks for demanding for #ChibokGirls and holding GEJ accountable!"
Aisha Yesufu is a co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement which bring the attention of the world, to the abduction of over 200 Chibok secondary school girls in Nigeria by the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram in 2014.
