The nation Nigeria has gone through good times and has also endured the bad situations. Since independence on 1st day of October 1960, from colonial government, has Nigeria never made it to the expected height. Wealth adorn the streets of big cities and towns, but when we move down to the villages a different tale altogether.
Visit to villages reveals the truth of bad governance and corrupt political leaders squandering money and leaving many in hunger. Visit to pupule, in Taraba state reveals the depth of suffering of Nigerians. Children going to school without shoes.
It is high time this villagers, are seen also as Nigerians and treated as such.
At 61, Nigeria should stand on her feet and defend her unity as rightfully recited by every Nigerian by playing his/her part in any position or agency found.
Every Nigerian should have access to the basic necessities of life no matter where he/she is located.
