According to a report made by Instablog9ja on their official Twitter account, a 17-year-old boy by name, Demay committed suicide after being threatened by 3 Nigerian boys that they will release his nudes online if refused to pay more money.

Demay was one of the victims who was targeted by the men. They allegedly obtained a naked picture of him and threatened to make it public unless he sent more pictures or paid money. Demay ultimately ended his life as a result of the extortion.

The indictment further alleges that the men used fake profiles and aliases to carry out their scheme, and they communicated with their victims using encrypted messaging applications to avoid detection by law enforcement.

If convicted, the three men face up to life in prison for the charge of using the internet to coerce and entice a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity. They could also face additional charges related to the extortion of other victims.

The case highlights the dangers of online sexual exploitation and the need for individuals, particularly young people, to be cautious about sharing personal information and images online. It also underscores the importance of law enforcement cooperation and international extradition in bringing perpetrators of online crimes to justice.
