Nigerian Arrested In India With Drugs Worth N515m

Police in India has arrested two persons including a Nigerian for carrying 10.5 kilograms of rave party drug Amphetamine which is worth Rs 10 crore (N515,335,974.00) it was found with them during a check at the New Delhi Railway Station.

According to the Deputy Commissionee of Delhi Police, Harendra Singh, confirmed the arrest and also stated that, the drugs is also known as "Ice", is worth Rs10 crore in the international market, which is about N515m.

Further speaking, he said, "While checking luggages of the two suspects, we discovered about 10.5 kg of amphetamine which is worth Rs 10 crore in the international market was found in their luggage, a substance which is prohibited.

Further investigation into the matter is currently ongoing, the police said.

As the year is coming to an end, desperate Nigerians have indulged themselves in several dubious activities, it is important law enforcement agencies put more efforts to stop criminal activities in the country.
